Finding new therapeutic solutions for unmet medical needs inspires us as a company. In the mid-1990’s, Cephalon began its operations in Europe by treating disabling excessive daytime sleepiness associated with narcolepsy, which until that time had been inadequately addressed. Today, Cephalon is bringing its innovative perspective to areas such as breakthrough cancer pain, metastatic breast cancer and severe types of leukaemias.
In the Maghreb and Sub-Saharian countries, Cephalon relies on long-standing partnerships initiated 40 years ago with local pharmaceutical companies to fight spasmodic pain. With the increasing demand for advanced therapies, these countries as well as Central Europe and the Middle East are new territories of expansion for Cephalon.
