Cephalon owns specific manufacturing "know-how" linked to advanced drug delivery technologies. This includes a large range of fast melting and dissolving technologies such as Orasolv®, DuraSolv® and OraVescent®.

Nevers, in the centre of France, is the company's worldwide centre of excellence for manufacturing LYOC® products.

LYOC® (Oral Lyophilizate) is an oral solid porous dosage form that immediately dissolves in the mouth without the need for water. The ease of use and safe administration enhance patient compliance.

Cephalon has a second manufacturing site in France for APIs (Active Product Ingredients).
